CELLMA - UK CAA online application
Please remember, from 29th March 2021, you will be required to have created an online account with the CAA's new medical record system and completed your CAA payment and medical application form before attending for your medical. It can take up to 10 days to register for the portal, so this needs to be done well in advance for your first medical with the new system. We cannot help you with this on the day.

MALTA EASA MEDICALS - random drug testing
Malta FCL Pilots only
EASA regulations have changed for Maltese pilots and you may be selected at random to have a urine drug and alcohol test during your medical. This is to test for Opioids, Cannabinoids, Amphetamines, Cocaine, Hallucinogens, and sedative hypnotics.
- Transport Malta have asked that pilots should refrain from drinking prior to their medical assessment
- Please be aware that some over the counter pain killers (especially co-codymol) and sedative decongestants can result in a positive test. These substances are prohibited and if detected can result in an UNFIT medical status
